Cupro is a regenerated cellulose fiber that is produced by treating cotton cellulose with cuprammonium salt. It is especially known to resemble silk, and is also known as artificial silk. Cupro fabrics breath like cotton, drapes beautifully, and look and feels like silk on your skin.
This is called “cupro pique”. It’s 70/30 modal poly. 100/50 stretch. 10 oz in weight.
This stuff is awesome in the fact it’s more opaque than the cupro we’ve had prior. This is a newer one for me! But I’m loving the stability of it and it’s thickness/opaque for the fact it can easily 100% be used for tops, dresses, pants, etc without even lining it! It’s got a semi thickness like a ponte but drapes like modal spandex, rayon spandex, single brushed poly etc.
Bolt width is 60 inches.
